Thanh Le, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship trained in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is licensed to practice in Texas and keeps current with medical advances by attending frequent post-graduate continuing education courses in orthopedic injuries.
Dr. Le received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, in Richardson, TX. Dr. Le received his medical degree from the Texas A&M College of Medicine and completed his Orthopedic Residency training at the UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dept. of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Le pursued further training in hand and upper extremity surgery through a fellowship at the Stony Brook Hospital, Dept. of Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Le has an ongoing interest in performing minimally invasive surgeries with quicker recovery including endoscopic carpal tunnel, cmc arthroplasty, fracture care, arthroscopy of the wrist, and tendon/nerve injuries. Dr. Le also performs non-operative modalities for disorders such as Xiaflex for Dupuytren’s along with PRP and steroidal injections if indicated. Dr Le. is also fluent in Vietnamese for non-english speakers.
